Our B&B is located in the centre of the island in Ballard. The property's elevated position provides excellent views of the Atlantic, the NorthWestern coastline and mountains. All of our comfortable bedrooms are en-suite, with tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen TVs. Ample off-road parking and wi-fi are available at no extra charge.
Arranmore Island is accessible throughout the year and is accessed by vehicle and passenger ferries from Burtonport Harbour. For small numbers of passengers travelling on foot, there is generally no need to book in advance. Passenger wishing to bring their vehicles onto the island are required to book in advance, particularly during the busy summer season. We at Muldowney's B&B can arrange transfer to and from the ferry terminal on Arranmore for our guests arriving on foot. Self-Catering Traditional Cottage
For visitors wishing to choose a self-catering option, we can accommodate guests in 'Teach Jack' a traditional stone built, plaster render cottage, built c.1905 in the traditional style. This one-bedroom, self-catering cottage is also located in Ballard and is available for self-catering rental. The cottage is an ideal base for diving & sea angling, seal watching trips, hill walking, or just for an 'away from it all' quiet, relaxing break on Arranmore Island
